Overlooking the large Parisian park of Buttes-Chaumont, the apartment of Syrian artist Sara Naim has been rethought by Ariel Claudet and Dechelette Architecture, in collaboration with the owner herself, to transform its 90 square meters into a hybrid space, where the needs of a house are combined with those of an exhibition space.
A Parisian house-gallery in minimal naive style
An out-of-this-world location in Paris that integrates the view of the greenery outside as if it were a painting, an artist's home is transformed into a gallery, favouring minimalism as an opportunity to give visibility to the works.

The white cube model is applied to the distribution of light sources and coverings: neon lights on the ceiling illuminate the living room converted into a gallery, while a neutral floor in satin pewter gray runs throughout the 90 square meters of the surface. To enliven this exercise of mimetic linearity, which is also skilfully exercised on doors and windows, the works on the walls claim their prominence on the white walls, joyfully imposing themself as an uncontrollable and spontaneous creative gesture.
