Young Architects Competition 2002

The digital revolution of the last ten years and the increasingly blurred confine between architecture and other disciplines, along with innovation in materials, mobility and concern for the environment are some of the themes for the “Young Architects Competition”, the yearly competition held by the Architectural League in New York and open to young architects and designers (who completed their studies no more than ten years ago and who are resident in the US, Canda and Mexico).

Complete freedom of expression for proposals which may be either theoretical or real and illustrated in any medium. The winners will receive a prize of 1000 dollars and be under the spotlight (along with a selection of other participants) at a large exhibition planned in New York in May. Deadline for submitting work is 20 February 2002.
