Tecno: Design ethics, global excellence.

Since 1953, Tecno has elevated design with an ethical, "industrial tailoring" approach, merging craftsmanship, technology, and innovation. With a portfolio boasting 5 Compasso d'Oro awards and 47 patents, the company is an essential partner for architects and designers, executing complex projects in 45 countries, from the Louvre to the European Parliament.

The genesis of Tecno's design know-how, tracing its roots back to 1953, is founded on an ethical imperative before an industrial one: To design, produce, and work well. This rigorous, creative process elevates every commission into an original event. The design emerges as the unavoidable synthesis between the client’s needs, the designer’s vision, and the deep identity of the location.

This practice is born from nothing other than the skillful fusion of tradition and innovation, where the rigor of Tecno's craftsmanship meets the power of technology. It is at this crossroads that ideas are transformed into unique artifacts, unmistakably recognizable for their intrinsic quality and high aesthetic value. On this ethical and design foundation, Tecno has built a track record that includes 47 industrial patents, 5 Compasso d'Oro awards, and a constellation of international recognitions. This excellence crosses borders, evidenced by management, environmental, and social certifications, and is manifested in projects across 45 nations.

The premises of this culture date back to the 1920s, a period when masterful craftsmanship first encountered the dawn of design culture, giving life to a fruitful dialogue with the client that generated one-of-a-kind pieces. This historical legacy has evolved into a competence that is both industrial and tailored, with an extraordinary capacity to span from custom-made furnishings for the most prestigious architecture to highly complex installations in iconic buildings and global infrastructures.

For the new headquarters of Boston Consulting Group America, Tecno interprets the contemporary workplace with W80 partitions and large custom-made meeting tables that combine performance and design. Tecno's signature is visible in projects of global resonance: from the halls of the European Parliament to the Paris Court of Justice, from BMW dealerships to the National Bank of Kuwait, moving through universities like Columbia University, cultural temples such as the Louvre and the British Museum, to critical hubs like Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam and Tullamarine in Melbourne, and the Headquarters of major global corporations.

In every realization, customization is central, supported by design collections and icons. These include Cosmos, the sustainable executive table developed in synergy with the Norman Foster Foundation; Alis (designed by Zaha Hadid Architects), a Meeting Pod that redefine future spaces by combining comfort and technology; Todo Modo  (designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte), the famous ottoman armchair with a reversible backrest conceived in 1993 for the Louvre; and Aeris (designed by Grimshaw Studio), the airport seating system with the unmistakable star-shaped beam. These objects and systems, whose forms, materials, and technologies are designed to open up new scenarios, are always in strict coherence with the client's identity.

WX, the new sophisticated and exclusive partition wall system, where fine materials and refined details transform space into a design experience. Modularity, elegance and innovation come together to create tailor-made prestigious environments.

Tecno's authentic hallmark is revealed precisely in this approach, where "industrial tailoring" is transformed into a solid and unavoidable promise of quality. It is the ace up the sleeve that projects Italian design to the center of the world's most daring and complex contract and custom projects. From this strategic strength, from this perspective that does not fear evolution, flourishes WX: the new partition wall that Tecno is deploying. Not a simple architectural or design element, but a bespoke project that composes three elements into a single symphony: architecture, material, and light. Finishes range from ethereal glass to tactile wood, from sophisticated leather to refined weave fabrics.

WX is designed for prestigious residences, for excellence in Hospitality, and for offices that aspire to the highest level. It does not settle for a compromise, but definitively redefines the balance point between aesthetics and functionality. Tecno does not ignore the past; it embraces it as the foundation for redesigning, with precision and vision, the future.
