This Gervasoni sofa is inspired by Thai culture

More than a line of sofas, Samet was created to define a new vocabulary of living: the collection, designed by Federica Biasi, consists of four versions of the product, consistent in form, but declined in different ways in order to ensure maximum comfort and meet the multiple needs of contemporary spaces.

The inspiration comes from oriental imagery, particularly Thai culture, in which the values of welcome and hospitality are translated into informal seating that are places of relationship, pause and contemplation. Hence was born Samet, in its original modular version: a free system, with no compositional constraints, that leaves the subject as the protagonist in the creation of his or her own space. The modules come together in fluid harmonies, between soft geometries and generous proportions, allowing classic or experimental configurations, always maintaining an essential and refined aesthetic.

To complement this vision, Gervasoni introduces Samet Low and Samet High that differ in seat height modulate the user experience and ergonomics: Samet Low invites relaxed conviviality, closer to the ground, Samet High is distinguished by a more composed posture, ideal for sophisticated spaces.

The newest addition to the collection is Samet Fix, a fixed and linear version that enriches the proposal with a more traditional reading of the contemporary sofa. The elegant quilted cushion integrated with the seat increases its comfort while maintaining a light and neat silhouette. A successful balance that enhances Gervasoni's typical craftsmanship and its ability to integrate production technology and attention to detail.

Between tailored stitching and matelassé work, the Samet collection stands out for its tangible quality and design versatility, making it suitable for both domestic spaces and high-profile contract settings.
