From the construction of new buildings to redevelopment and revitalisation projects, from product design to interior design, from image to materials: the international ICONIC AWARDS 2024: Innovative Architecture takes a complex look at the world of design, rewarding the best innovations and virtuous experiments.

Entries for the award organised by the German Design Council – one of the most prestigious in Europe – are open until 17 May 2024. The winners will then be honoured at a ceremony on 7 October 2024 at EXPO Real in Munich.

Architects, engineers, specialist planners, construction companies, builders and real estate professionals are invited to submit their projects, which will be selected by an international jury of experts at the highest level. The “Best of Best”, “Winner” and “Selection” prizes will be decided. The special prizes “Architect of the Year”, “Interior Designer of the Year” and “Client of the Year” will also be awarded. Last year's winners in these categories were Sou Fujimoto Architects, Holzrausch and Vestre.

The ICONIC AWARDS provide the winners with an exclusive communication platform and position them as pioneering designers in the international arena. For more than 10 years, it has brought together established studios, emerging young designers, and leading companies. It is both an observatory and an established point of reference in the world of architecture.

In addition, every year the award ceremony becomes a meeting place for the brightest minds in the world of architecture and offers designers and companies the opportunity to present themselves and network.
