Ceramic surfaces in delicate tones

Balance, the surface collection by Fiandre Architectural Surfaces focused on full colors and soft, velvety shades, expands with a new format, which was presented in conjunction with Cersaie 2023.

Fiandre Architectural Surfaces presented new large formats for the Balance collection, characterised by solid colours and soft, velvety shades. The new proposals was presented at the FAB Fiandre Architectural Bureau space, located at the brand's headquarters in Castellarano – which recently underwent innovative restyling by Area 17 – in conjunction with Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings now in its 40th edition. The Balance collection was created to dialogue with architectural spaces of particular creative intensity, and to enhance the most precious marble textures. Inspired by blends of clay minerals, this collection from Fiandre Architectural Surfaces offers 14 colours ranging from the coolest to the warmest shades, guaranteeing maximum combinability, versatility and compatibility. The selected shades brighten up rooms and acquire additional aesthetic value when combined with the visual and tactile qualities of Fiandre's ceramic marbles, stones, agates and granites.

Balance expresses a rare delicacy. Its slight texture, matt finish and expressive composure infuse the surrounding space with harmony. One of the most appreciated and sought-after aspects of technical ceramics, the large format offers visual and spatial continuity, as well as practicality and lightness, also thanks to its thickness of only 6 mm, which makes the slabs suitable for various contexts and uses. In addition to the aesthetic aspects, the surface collection features the best performance guaranteed by a material like porcelain stoneware: durability, mechanical and chemical resistance, high resistance to absorption and ease of cleaning. Conceived in an ethical manner, the large slabs eliminate material waste: the 120x270 cm conforms to the minimum height required for habitability. The focus on reducing waste is part of Fiandre's broader culture of sustainability, which produces the large slabs in plants that emit neither harmful substances nor odours into the atmosphere.
