Cantori revolutionises the storage cabinet

The bar cabinets produced by Cantori in the Oasi, Mirage and Shanghai collections make a timeless piece of furniture functional and elegant.

In English, the term cabinet is a very broad one, within which various types of furniture fit comfortably: from the wardrobe to the cupboard, from the larder to the shelf, right up to representing entire rooms, as in the case of cabinets of curiosities, better known as Wunderkammer. But the real peculiarity of cabinets is the ambiguity that is intrinsic to both form and function: it can show, it can hide and it can store.

Cantori, in its collections, revolutionises and modernises the historical concept of the cabinet, and makes it an element that is both functional and distintive. Oasi, Mirage and Shanghai are the three bar cabinets proposed by Cantori: furnishings that stand out for the quality of their manufacturing techniques and offer the possibility of customising any everyday space or furnishing the work environment in a special way.

The Oasi bar cabinet is characterised by an 'S-shaped' metal profile that elegantly wraps around the cabinet structure with curved side panels and long metal legs that end in an elliptical metal perimeter band. The central door, with hinges on the left, and ergonomic opening, has two moulded glass shelves inside with adjustable supports. From every detail emerges the care and refinement of the workmanship and underlines the uniqueness of the design.

Aesthetic details predominate in the Shanghai cabinet bar, such as the vertical, forged metal rods with facets, which reinterpret the historical Cantori element. With two doors, which open to reveal the interior, lacquered in an earthy Morocco colour, and is divided with a shaped glass shelf ground to a polished edge and two drawers with an integrated metal handle forming a perfect circle. It is a piece of furniture with a transversal and timeless design, capable of standing out in any context, from the living room to the entrance hall.

Rich in detail, always perfectly geometric and contrasting in colour, is the Mirage bar cabinet. Its charm is determined by a great stylistic rigour, a strong aesthetic sign and the special metalwork with light and dark notes. The lacquered wood structure and metal base complement each other perfectly. The metal offers an unusual and sophisticated decorative effect.
