With the new Solos collection, Ideal Standard proposes a new approach to bathroom design, aiming to provide cross-cutting, thoughtful and stimulating solutions, easily adaptable to each project for a customised result.

Designed by Roberto Palomba, Chief Design Officer of Ideal Standard and co-founder of Palomba Serafini Associati, Solos comprises an innovative combination of washbasin and integrated total tap, which together represent the absolute purity of design, made possible by the combination of pioneering technologies and cutting-edge materials, and the fruit of decades of research and experimentation by the company in the manufacture of ceramic and tapware.

The simple, minimalist design with pure lines and extremely thin edges gives the ceramic an extreme lightness and a balanced, timeless elegance. The mixer enhances the essentiality of the shapes by showing only the spout and control knob, while the supporting technology remains completely hidden under the basin, making the combination truly unique.

Speaking about the product, Roberto Palomba said: "Solos represents the synthesis of Ideal Standard's Singular™ philosophy, showing a total harmony between pure, minimalist design and technological excellence. The perfect integration between the elegant mixer and the light and sophisticated washbasin is the result of Ideal Standard's expertise as a leader in both ceramics and faucets, and creates a refined and impressive bathroom element."

The formal outcomes of the washbasin are possible thanks to the use of Diamatec®, an exclusive blend of alumina and chamotte that allows the creation of highly complex shapes and challenging designs without sacrificing strength and durability. The mixer features sequential technology, allowing accurate temperature and flow control with a simple turn of the control knob. A second model, featuring touchless technology with capacitive sensors, offers further application possibilities. Innovative features are thus seamlessly integrated into the design of the collection.

The product will be available on the market from the second half of 2023. The Solos collection will be enriched with several proposals, including a shower solution and an innovative toilet, to be complemented with matching furniture and accessories, characterised by the same design philosophy.
