The villa designed by G3 Arquitectura e Interiorismo in Sanlúcar de Barrameda aims to domesticate the Andalusian landscape and integrate human and natural activities. From this vision derive the careful selection of colors and materials, reminiscent of the beaches and the coast of Cadiz, the caution for the landscaping, and the minimalist design of the private residence, which opens outward with large windows.

Also the outdoor spaces lighting project, realized by BIG Architectural Lighting in collaboration with Performance iN Lighting, intends to combine interior and exterior, architecture and environment, adapting to the context and its lighting scenarios.

The Italian company has extensive experience in the design of lighting fixtures, which are specifically designed to meet complex contemporary demands and adapt to the most diverse application areas  – public and private spaces, interiors, architectures and outdoors.

The villa in Sanlúcar de Barrameda presents a lighting project that combines light and architectural detail with site-specific design solutions. The Quasar 20 and Quasar 10 devices by Performance iN Lighting were installed along the perimeter walls to define the architectural body and enhance the chromatic qualities of the external envelope.

The lights enhance the fluid relationship between interior and exterior: during the day, the abundant light entering through the large windows is modulated by adjustable slat blinds; in the evening hours, the skilful balance between light, order and space is regulated by Quasar bi-emission luminaires.

The lighting of the villa required sophisticated and high-performance lighting fixtures at a technological level, in order to create a custom-designed project that could combine visual comfort with the requirements of the lighting concept.

The space that best enhances the combination of light, landscape and architecture is the large outdoor porch, a hybrid and transitional space: here the lighting plays a fundamental role to recreate a natural situation during twilight or evening, offering an intimate, refined and functional atmosphere.
