VarioCooling 400 modular system combines style and performance

The kitchen is the heart and soul of the house, an environment where are held the main ceremonies of everyday life and where we can express our ars culinaria. It is no longer a serving space but a place to live at 360°, which is open and multitasking, and able to dialogue with the rest of the house. This is the vision that Gaggenau upholds every day, innovating both the aesthetic aspects and the functional standards of the environment, with the aim of interpreting the needs and lifestyles of increasingly demanding consumers.

The VarioCooling 400 refrigerators, freezers and fridge-freezers form a modular hideaway system that makes it possible to combine several models into a single cooling wall. In this way the design of the kitchen is continuous and homogeneous, in perfect harmony with the style of the house. The new conservation centres produced by Gaggenau are equipped with the latest refrigeration technology, combined with understated, refined aesthetics.

The VarioCooling 400 modular system integrates with the rest of the kitchen thanks to the new handle-free doors, available in stainless steel or integrated with the furniture panels. The shelves in thin transparent glass and the small aluminium balconies guarantee solidity and great capacity of the spaces, while food and containers, housed inside a room with walls entirely made of steel and illuminated by the warm light of the anti-reflective LED spotlights, are enhanced by an enveloping and evocative atmosphere. All models have an assisted opening system, so the doors open with a simple hand pressure. In addition, a proximity sensor detects our presence and automatically activates the light and touch buttons on the water and ice dispenser.

The VarioCooling 400 air-conditioned cellars can accommodate fine wines and guarantee the best conditions for their preservation. They also allow you to contemplate the bottles in all their charm, thanks to the glass presentation panel and five different lighting intensities. The cellars are equipped with two or three independent air-conditioned zones with solid removable oak wood shelves and offer the ideal storage conditions for every type of label, from those ready to be drunk to those that need years of ageing. VarioCooling 400 features a high-performance compressor to reduce vibrations and precisely regulate humidity, as well as prevent oxidation of the wine thanks to an activated carbon air filter.

All VarioCooling models are also equipped with a TFT touch display and Home Connect, a home integration system that allows, through dialogue with the dedicated app, control of device settings from smartphones and tablets.
