Waver was a challenge in many senses, not least that of its type definition. The first joint product, designed by the German designer and mass produced by Vitra, since Grcic presented his Landen experimental group seating for public spaces five years ago, is a light, revolving chair that tries to cast aside the classical distinction between indoor and outdoor chairs, and adopts the construction principles of extreme sports equipment. It is a simple but complex chair in bent tubular steel, a new approach for the German company.
