Back in March, Canadian EV manufacturer Daymak announced the new Spiritus. With a top speed of 137 Km/h, it’s the “world’s fastest 3-wheeled” electric car, which is undeniably a particular record to be proud of. Following up on bold claims, the company recently announced that its entire Avvenire lineup of electric vehicles has been a great success among early customers, with more than $300 million in pre-order commitments. Along with the Spiritus, the Avvenire family includes several quirky and futuristic vehicle concepts that range from realistic promise to full-fledged vaporware. The Terra is a bulky all-terrain bike with GPS tracking and a solar panel. The Foras is a sort of recumbent three-wheeled bicycle with a carbon fibre capsule mounted on top. The Daymak Tectus looks like a Piaggio Ape from 2121, but without a loading trunk. And last but not least, the Skyrider: a personal electric flying esacopter. Details about the Skyrider are scarce, with Daymak only stating that it’s “an elegant and high-performance electric vehicle capable of flying. No traffic, no cars, no pollution. The future flies well”. So do promises.
