An exponent of the legacy of the Renaissance, the “living Leonard da Vinci”, is how Omar Galliani has been described by critics. Palazzo Reale presents an exhibition, from 13 July to 24 September 2023, exhibiting the history of the Emilia-born artist. Galliani uses the sfumato technique that was typical of the Florentine maestro; intense black lines creating the most-well-known female portraits, accompanied as always by small red cameos.

Curated by Flavio Caroli and Vera Agosti, the exhibition brings together the most important works; graphite paintings and tables, recent monumental works, some of which have already been shown at Biennials worldwide, and some never-before-seen pieces.
Admission is free of charge and without reservations, and visitors are plunged into a diachronic and synchronised world where time stands still.
