Have you ever had to spend a night at the airport because your flight was cancelled or delayed? If yes, and if it happened in Europe, you were probably given a meal and transport voucher, sent to a hotel nearby, then rebooked on a different flight in the morning and eventually compensated for the inconvenience. Believe it or not, that’s what every airline has to do by law if you’re flying through the the Old Continent.
But hey, if you feel like giving up your legal rights for good, now you have a great reason to do so: enter the Trollaby, a devilish contraption that turns your hand luggage in a camping tent. You just have to unpack a few aluminum poles, attach them together and to  your luggage, unfold the plastic cover then finally sneak under it to lie on your own personal air mattress (which you have to pack separately).  The Trollaby weights “only 900g”, which is actually 1/8 of the maximum carry on bag weight allowance on many airlines, and offers “VIP privacy”, meaning luckily nobody can take pictures of your drooling face while you sleep on the floor like a hobo. Its inventor, who is now trying to fund the ill-conceived project on Kickstarter, calls it a “private business lounge, so to speak”, letting us wonder what kind of business lounge experiences he’s had so far.
