From March to October 2019, Ceramiche Refin will present "Stories of architects and architecture", a series of lectures by the historian and architecture critic Emanuele Piccardo to celebrate some of the most renowned Italian architects of the past century. The first, on March 7, will be Paolo Soleri, who moved to America in 1946 to build the autonomous city of Arcosanti in the Arizona desert; Giancarlo De Carlo, a Team X and New Brutalism member as well as the main protagonist of Urbino’s architectural and urban recovery, will be right after; in May it will be the turn of Vittoriano Viganò, who designed Marchiondi Institute and Villa La Scala on Garda Lake commissioned by the French sculptor André Bloc, and finally, in October, a focus on Space Electronic, the famous radical dance club in Florence founded by the 9999 radical architects group, will take place.
Next to the talks, Ca 'Romanino in Urbino by Giancarlo De Carlo, the Torre del Mare residential complex by Mario Galvagni, Villa La Scala by Vittoriano Viganò and the Solimene Artistic Ceramics factory by Paolo Soleri will be opened from May to July.  Here the complete schedule of the events by invitation only.
