Patricia Urquiola has designed a fridge that doesn’t look like a fridge

Signature Kitchen Suite's Mantle looks like a living room cabinet or a home decor component, but it is actually a refrigerator designed to bring the cold out of the kitchen.

Patricia Urquiola, in collaboration with Signature Kitchen Suite, has created Mantle, a designer cabinet made with a textured Cimento tile finish, incorporating an silent under-counter convertible refrigerator: it consists of two independent drawers that can be adjusted from -23°C to +10°C.

Expressed in three different modularities, this project aims to bring the cold out of the kitchen boundaries, adapting to all spaces in the home and beyond. As well as storing food and drink, it can also be used to store beauty and personal care products, for example,
