In 1989, in Verbania, Aldo Rossi built for the Alessi family, in one of the most beautiful spots of Lake Maggiore, an imposing villa of 560 square meters on four levels.

The property – now on sale for 7 million euros – on the side facing the street shows a massive wall surface with a single opening, a monumental door flanked by two granite columns. The part overlooking the lake, intimate and protected, is composed of three loggias with terracotta balustrades and is characterized by a sober classic style.

The ground floor houses a double living room with direct access to the garden, while on the first floor there is the living area, with a large terrace. The top two floors are dedicated to the four bedrooms. The garden features a wooden terrace overlooking the water, which juts out into the landscape, and – of course – there is a private dock with a berth.
