On June 3rd, at La Triennale in Milan, the exhibition “50 Years of Being a Cactus” will open and it will include the three new limited editions of Andy Warhol’s CACTUS, created by Grufram in collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts: Andy’s Blue Cactus, Andy’s Pink Cactus and Andy’s Yellow Cactus.

Presented on the 50 year anniversary of the world-recognised hall tree, the Andy Warhol x Gufram Cctus edition is made from the original 1972 mould, sculpted and hand finished by specialised artisans. The 2,165 polyurethane bosses that characterise the surface are then painted with Guflac, Gufram’s patented paint that makes the surface look like leather, while still allowing it to remain flexible and soft.
