NeverEnding Table

During Dutch Design Week 2017 Swedish design studio Ola Giertz will showcase a small side table made with molded ash veneers that represent an infinite circle.

Swedish design studio Ola Giertz is presenting his NeverEnding table at “Whats your DNA?” exhibition during Dutch Design Week 2017 in Eindhoven. The piece takes inspiration from geometrical objects and shapes, in particular from a fascination for the circle.

The rounded form stands for limitlessness that has no beginning and no end. The circular table top reflects in the foot that meets the floor, and the graphic, round form gives the impression of balance and transparency. With a construction in molded ash veneers, the beveled edge forms a thin line that harmonizes with the context, both public and private.
