In 2016 VLab meets Fikus: this boutique bed and breakfast within the Apulian olive trees of the Itria Valley, in southern Italy, host some of the designers’ furnishings, transforming the place in a creative workshop and exhibition space open to further contamination.

Research, recovery and restyling animate the concept by VLab design. The pieces of furniture proposed by V-LAb for Fikus, aim to restore dignity to the traditional aesthetics and the functional furnishings in disuse, to give them a chance to live again in a new, contemporary place. Along this process, the history and the identity of the original elements are not deleted but the time enhancement philosophy becomes a guarantee of quality for its future evolution.
