Marmo_2.0

During milan Design Week Raffaello Galiotto recounts the evolution of marble works through parametric software and numerical control machinery.

As part of SuperDesign Show, Superstudio’s initiative for Milan Design Week, Raffaello Galiotto curates an exhibition of five experimental marble works, designed with parametric software and exclusively made using numerical control machinery, to show that it is now possible to incite emotions through stone and reach unimaginable levels even without the direct touch of a human hand.

Next to the marble objects made by some Italian companies (Citco, Helios Automazioni, Intermac, Lithos Design, Marmi Strada), explanatory videos of the production processes and intuitive infographics allow to understand and appreciate the revolutionary and experimental content of every design.
