The perception of time

Pierre-Emmanuel Vandeputte presented at Maison&Objet two small projects: one that reminds us of the fairy tales and the other that changes the perception of time.

Belgian designer Pierre-Emmanuel Vandeputte participated at Maison&Objet 2015 with two new projects: the Picnic Set and the Yearly Clock.

The first one is composed of a pile elements need for two persons transportable as a bundle. The Yearly Clock, instead, has been conceived for the elderly, whose perception of time changes.

Past and present blend together progressively into a stream of moments that exceed the pace of daily life. This clock is designed for them. Therefore it does not show hours or minutes, but days and months.
