Indeterminate Landscapes

On view at Del Inifnito Gallery in Buenos Aires, Matilde Marin’s last work Paisajes Indeterminados shows the nature with few geographical references, breaking the horizon.

Matilde Marin is know for her photographic work in open spaces, such as Horizontal Landscapes and Intervined Landscapes,  devoted to South American landscape.

The new body of works Indeterminate Landscapes completes the trilogy and will be shown at Del Infinito Gallery on July 23, 2015.

This work deals with other landscapes: images in unknown destinations, the feeling of traveling without maps with few geographic references in a non-specific timeless ride, with landscapes that emerge outside the viewer / artist who still contemplate the horizon as the main itinerary. Indeterminate Landscapes shows the nature with few geographical references, only the photographic record and interventions, to say that someone (the artist) was there, wondering if the landscape always wait for us in the same way.
