India Mahdavi: Parrot

On view at Maison&Objet 2015, Parrot is a table collection born from the collaboration between Petite Friture and the interior designer India Mahdavi.

Parrot is a set of chatty indoor and outdoor tables born from the collaboration between Petite Friture and the interior designer India Mahdavi.

Used by itself or as a set, the dynamic geometry and colorful enameled surface contrasts with its orange-red foot, just like parrots of exotic islands.

The tables are designed for private interiors as well as public spaces, they can be combined in different ways and can be used outdoors. The project seeks for a the balance between colours and materials with geometrical shapes that work together, built in with a colorful table leg which is dark coral.

Petite Friture presents at Maison&Objet also Mask, a project by Federico Floriani inspired by the decorative details on doors of southern Italian heritage, rearranged to appear as a painted mask over a shaman’s face.
