The vast collection is designed to communicate the decorative style of the past and present through expressive artistic language that reveals the creative genius of each of the project designers: Paola Navone, Jaime Hayon, Carlo Dal Bianco, and Bisazza Design Studio.
Made entirely by hand and available in two formats – 20x20cm square or 20x23cm hexagonal – each tile is unprecedented and unique. Attentive craftsmanship adds allure and personality to the collection, which features a rich palette of colors and the sumptuous wealth of contemporary and classic graphic motifs that lend a bold, modern expressive identity to the products.
The playfully decorative motifs of the Navone collection – characterized by graceful irregular figures – are available in a wide range of colors; “meeting” freely, they create unique patterns, similar to rugs, bringing a novel look to almost any surface.
The Spanish designer Jaime Hayon, with his fun-loving artistic language, creates very striking graphic designs, icons of the modern and slightly “pop” style he has made his own. The distinguishing element of the collection is the countless number of combinations possible that, depending on how the tiles are aligned, gives rise to a vast range of textures. Innovative material surfaces made up of unexpected geometric figures that, repeating to infinity, convey a sense of movement and create continuity between spaces.
A more classic inspiration with a dash of the contemporary defines the designs by Carlo Dal Bianco. The trend here is to recreate the patterns found in fabrics and revisit the designs found on tiles of days gone by. The tiles signed by the Bisazza Design Studio create a collection of friezes and borders that, paired with decorative patterns and solid colors, gives rise to an endless number of customized “rugs”.
