AfroditiKrassa designs Super Brands London’s first dedicated bar using the studio’s debut collection of tiles, wall panels and lighting to glittering effect.

AfroditiKrassa Bar takes its design cues from the high-octane excitement of a catwalk fashion show and the contrast of front and backstage: the flashing of cameras and shutter sound, the dramatic light rebounding of glossy surfaces, the tension of that moment before the catwalk and the curtained divide concealing the frenetic pace backstage.

Shown in-situ on a grand scale within the bar area are pieces from AfroditiKrassa’s debut collection, AKollection: 35 Pentagon lighting pendants which hang rhythmically from the ceiling, 30 square metres of Piano tiles line the oversized table/catwalk feature and 5 square metres of Pleat mirror wall panels adorn the back wall of the bar. The entire space of AfroditiKrassa Bar is articulated from a central gleaming runway stage around which chairs to rest the weary legs of Super Brands’ visitors are arranged.

Aimed primarily at the contract market but also available to retail customers AKollection is inspired by the bold and graphical elegance of Art Deco and brings to life Afroditi’s concept of Urban Opulence: a move to a new and understated sense of luxury for the future.
