Gravina: ADI-FAD medal

Gravina designed the ADI-FAD medal, a Spanish prize given to the best final degree project, as an Arduino equipped medal that claps when it is put on the winners.

The ADI-FAD medal is a Spanish prize given to the best final degree projects.

Gravina’s designers see this award as a step to another stage, from a student to a complete designer. This should be reflected on the medal through the recognition of a good job, but especially by cheering and encouraging them at this new long way they have in front of them.

Starting from the basic form of the FAD institution, the hexagon, and unlike materials for trophies, such as silicone, they have created an object closer to the honorees character. With this concept, and thanks to the invaluable help in programming by Gerard Rubio, was developed an Arduino equipped medal that claps when it is put on the winners.
