BCXSY: Linear Cycle

Instead of the usual rotating dials, Linear Cycle features a revolving shell-like element which allows it to indicate the passing hours on a linear plate  instead of a circular one.

Linear Cycle is not a common clock.

Commissioned by Isabelle Daëron and Fabien Petiot
 for the exhibition “Roues Libres” showed in Paris during D’Days 2014, this unique time display offers a playful alternative to one of the most known objects to men and may draw some more attention and increase awareness to our advance through time.
