#Makemore

#Makemore is a challenge launched by Veneta Cucine tighter with MakeTank to showcase the innovation and creativity of Makers from all over Europe.

MakeMore is an open-theme competition to design furniture accessories, the only requirement being that wood is to be used as the main material. The aim of the contest is to involve designers and makers that combine new innovative manufacturing technologies (laser cutting and open source hardware) with the craftsmen’s traditions of Veneta Cucine.

All the works will be viewed by the panel of judges consisting of: Daniela Archiutti (Art Director Veneta Cucine), Andrea Branzi (architect and designer), Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda (architects), Laura De Benedetto (co-founder of MakeTank) and Eleonora Ricca (designer and Vectorealism entrepreneur).

To take part in the competition, complete the form published on the www.make-more.it website and send projects in before 30 June 2014. Entry to the competition is free of charge. On 15 July the five projects that have made it through to the final will be announced and it will be possible to make on-line reservations from 1 September to 31 October.

The winning object will be announced on 15 November 2014 and then distributed through Veneta Cucine’s official distribution channels.
