Fondue Slipper

Japan designer Satsuki Ohata presented at Salone Satellite 2014 Fondue Slipper, a new concept of footwear that perfectly match with foot by “dipping” it.

Fondue Slipper
Satsuki Ohata named this project Fondue Slipper because the production process is similar to cheese fondue.
Since it needs to be 200 to 300 degrees Celsius (392 to 572 degrees Fahrenheit) to harden the PVC, the designer used the mold of his of foot instead of his own foot, but he is developing a kit that enables people to make Fondue Slipper at home.
