Valentin Sanz

Young Spanish designer Valentin Sanz, founder of Liquenlav, will present at Salone Satellite, during Milan Design Week, the bench Mas and the lamp Farolera.

Mas is a piece of furniture whose geometry allows multiple ways of use.

Its basically a bench without backrest that enables to be stacked and depending on the way in which we stack the pieces give rise to benches with backrest, tables, shelves, low benches.

Farolera is a lamp inspired by a traditional Spanish candle lantern. Its basic components are a pentagonal iron base, a wooden stick and a lampshade. The user is able to control light inclination by reclining the stick on the sides of the irregular pentagon, and the height by sliding the lampshade over the wood stick.

With a degree in Architecture, in 2010 Valentin Sanz created Liquenlav, a small office and workshop where he develops his work as architect and designer. His pieces are characterized by its simplicity and by being able to provide the user with a variety of functional options.
