Young Berlin-based designers Markus Dilger and Thomas Hiemann have recently developed the Dodeck light series, as a result of several experiments with geometric structures.
Composed out of cardboard parts, each lampshade is an easily assembled construction kit with different single components and an independent plug connection.
The formal language of the individual parts is reduced to the geometric basics, and, when assembled, the Dodeck lamp "becomes a centerpiece in any modern space", according to the designer. The lamp also creates decorative patterns in the ceiling and walls.
Dodeck is available in two different sizes: all die cut components are made from Les NATURALS® cardboard, 100 % wastepaper and free of hazardous materials. The Dodeck lamp is produced locally in Berlin.
