Public Design Festival by esterni comes back to Milan’s squares and streets during the Salone del Mobile. For a week the Porta Genova and Via Vigevano area will be transformed by installations, public interventions, services and projects by international guests.
Three collectives that analyze, research, and complete new projects for the urban environments with different approaches and skills have been invited to come in April: Topotek 1, Feld 72 and Cascoland.

Public Space is a Personal Affair (Inside-Out)
Some political agendas rather sees its citizens to engage in distractions like interior design and decorum than actively take active part in the politic reality. Who is actually on the "inside" of political power and what taste are approved of? This installation aims to involve the visitor in the question of how to be personal in public and how to interact with the common space.
Realised in collaboration with Goethe Institute Mailand and with the technical support of Jannelli&Volpi the installation will be held in Piazza Stazione Genova during the Salone del Mobile.
