Never Go Alone is a new brand that will populate the so-called wellness industry this spring. Founded by Vietnamese-born London-based entrepreneur Nga Nguyen who has been identified as patient zero of the fashion world by the New York Times. The brand focuses on a range of personal care products and was created as a direct result of the ongoing health emergency. Nguyen has teamed up with the design agency led by British designer Benjamin Hubert, Layer, who has designed a range of everyday essentials for Never Go Alone, including the brand identity. The launch collection includes a reusable mask with integrated PM 2.5 filter, a refillable hand sanitiser and a refillable pouch of sanitising wipes. “The Layer team applied their multi-disciplinary approach and unique design thinking to all aspects of Never Go Alone, from the branding and website to product and packaging design”, says the founder. The collection alludes to a design dimension which distances itself from the products already on the market, where the clinical and algid aspect prevails, thanks also to the choice of colours ranging from pastel shades of grey and orange. “As a studio, we are focused on using the power of design to shift perceptions and solve the challenges of today and tomorrow” says Benjamin Hubert. “In today’s world, we believe it is essential to transform medical and hygiene products into sustainable lifestyle accessories that people want to use every day”.
