Ceramic figures by Pirwi inspired by Luis Barragán

Moisés Hernández designed Pirwi Objetos collection, including pieces for everyday life with references to mexican history and traditions.

With objects made for everyday life, Pirwi Objetos is the home accessories collection by the mexican design brand founded in 2007. The products are designed in Mexico by Moisés Hernández for domestic environments in collaboration with small and big studios. The series includes hooks, mirrors, wooden boxes, candle holders, cushions and decorative figures made in ceramic, such as “Los Caballos”, inspired by the passion architect Luis Barragán had for horses.

Representing these animals through soft shapes and different colours, the collection creates a connection with earth and Mexican traditions. It includes small mirrors shaped as arches or semi-circles, tiny ceramic containers that look like tiles in their geometric forms, and carved volumes that are perfect to cointain keys or paper clips.
