“Pinin” Ferrari

This special prototype is the first 4-door saloon built with a Ferrari power and mechanical plant. By calling it the “Pinin”, the Pininfarina company, fifty years old this year, pays tribute to its founder. With its 12-cylinder, front-mounted Boxer engine, the “Pinin” highlights the classic Ferrari radiator grill with its rectangular grid. A sophisticated technical and aesthetic approach, making use of smoked glass to mask the slender frame and uprights, has produced the visual impression of a continuous, unbroken glazed surface.
