The new movie by Alessandra Stefani, The Arch. – produced by Scarabeo Entertainment and released in Italian cinemas the 27th, 28th and 29th of September – wants to show us how architecture is changing and will change in the future our lives. From Australia to Mexico, from Toronto to Pechino, through Tbilisi, Seul and Berlin, nine of the most innovative contemporary architects share ideas, stories and projects, outlining the tendencies of the coming years. The Italian architect Dada, passionate about exploration, connects and dialogues with them in a linear and comprehensive conversation. “Arch, as well as ‘architect’ stands for arc,” said the director, “with a geographical meaning, as a trait-d’union between East and West, but also with a temporal one, because in the movie, as in reality, the great architecture of the past is a counterpoint to the amazing works of the present”.
