The Uniche surface collection, produced by Marazzi, evokes the materiality of four Mediterranean limestones.
When we talk about “Mediterranean lifestyle”, we immediately associate images of a simple, healthy and unostentatious life: stone houses and rough cliffs, large tables and convivial meals, traditional cultures and joyful social interactions.
The Mediterranean style is also one of the most popular in the field of architecture and design, because it views everyday life as a set of rituals and collective ceremonies rather than assigning each area of the house a specific, unchanging function. Thus, through the conformation of spaces, the choice of furnishings and materials, more and more architects and interior designers are choosing to recreate the relaxing and seductive atmospheres of the Mare Nostrum in domestic settings.
Ostuni, Arles, Cadiz and Avignon are four locations that represent the lifestyle, landscapes and imagery typical of the Mediterranean. The cities give their names to the four surface shades that are part of Uniche, the new stone-effect porcelain stoneware collection by Marazzi. The charm of Mediterranean limestone is reinterpreted by the new product line, which is a synthesis of innovation and nature.

Thanks to the new 3D Ink technology, the collection has a strong visual and tactile characterisation and an extremely realistic stone effect. With a sustainable, state-of-the-art production process, a new Mediterranean authenticity is pursued, following our values without denying traditions. 3D Ink Technology represents the latest evolution of digital technologies applied to porcelain stoneware developed in the Marazzi laboratories. This gives surfaces an excellent material realism, creating different three-dimensional graphics and structures for each individual piece.
The Uniche collection is available in four sizes, from 60x120 cm to 30x30 cm. These are obviously modular and compatible with each other and can feature different surface treatments to suit any indoor or outdoor space, guaranteeing maximum continuity.
Marazzi's Uniche collection incorporates another advanced technology, called Stepwise, which provides both high slip resistance and a surface that is soft to the touch and easy to clean, given the absence of surface roughness. By working on all the industrial phases, from the search for raw materials and glazes to the type of milling, pressing and firing, StepWise represents an intrinsic characteristic of the product that is unalterable over time.
