From 5 to 10 September 2021, the new Arper collections and some iconic products can be discovered live, in the showroom at via Pantano 30, Milan, or at the "supersalone" at Rho Fiera.
(Re)new Together is the theme that Arper will bring to Milan Design Week 2021, both at the "supersalone" and at the Fuorisalone. The Italian company wants to stimulate a reflection on how relationships are changing in the world of design: relationships between objects, relationships between people and relationships with the environment that surrounds us.
Arper will expand the spaces open to the public to ensure that the moments of meeting and exchange (which are the focus of the Milan Design Week) can take place safely and in compliance with the distancing standards.
In addition to the exhibition space of the "supersalone" (Hall 4 | Hall D02), and the showroom in via Pantano 30, the company will also expand its boundaries in via Osti, with an area adjacent to the current showroom. In addition, in via Pantano we will find a large Arper outdoor space, an oasis of relaxation and conviviality.

The (Re)new Together concept will be represented by Arper through the products of the 2020 and 2021 collections – Kata, Kinesit Met, Mixu, Adell, Aston Club – designed to follow the most advanced principles of sustainability and circularity. Other iconic furnishings by the company – Catifa 46, Catifa 53, Cila, Saya, Leaf, Steeve – interpret the contemporary topics of modularity and flexibility, i.e. the ability to adapt to complex and changing conditions.
Some elements of the exhibition "Lina Bo Bardi Together" will be exhibited in the space on via Osti, alongside Bardi's Bowl Chair, the iconic chair designed by the architect in 1951 and first produced by Arper in 2012. The relationship between people, "people at the centre", is one of the themes that has guided Bo Bardi's career. The Bowl Chair will be presented in two new versions upholstered with Rubelli fabrics, further enriching the limited and numbered edition of 500 pieces.
6 September 2021 will be a day dedicated to events. At the Arper showroom, in the morning there will be a breakfast dedicated to journalists and insiders, while in the afternoon designers Jeannette Altherr, Daniel Stromborg and Jean-Marie Massaud will discuss the theme of sustainability. For security reasons, the event will be held behind closed doors and will be visible on the Arper and Salone del Mobile platforms from 7 September. The evening will conclude with an exclusive cocktail reception, accessible by invitation only to facilitate flow control and spacing.
