New geographies of styles and colours

Wall&decò presented its new collection of wallpapers, featuring 71 new graphics with a strong personality.

Wall coverings are highly suggestive decorative works: elements that form the backdrop to our everyday life – at home, at work or in public spaces – and influence the mood and state of mind of those who inhabit the space. In a revival of maximalism, according to which “less is a bore”, wallpapers can feature bold and sophisticated compositions, and allow colour to express itself with vital energy, whether in delicate pastel shades or bright hues. Space can be expanded, mystical landscapes opened up, or intimate corners recreated through the reproduction of elegant geometric patterns on paper.

Watch the video of the new Contemporary Wallpaper Collection 2023 The Italian company Wall&decò interprets this trend with its new Contemporary Wallpaper 2023 collection, consisting of no less than 71 new graphics divided into three moodboards, which create an unusual geography of styles and colours. “I particularly love this collection and would like to thank our designers for the way they were able to interpret the 3 initial moodboards – each one with its own visual code and technique, therefore with very different solutions, but with a common thread: a courageous and unconventional aesthetic that is at the same time extremely sophisticated. Wall&decò is just that: visual proposals with a strong personality, capable of creating suggestive atmospheres and aimed at generating emotions through colour and fantasy,” says Christian Benini, Founder and Creative Director of Wall&decò.

"Virtual Aesthetics" is characterised by highly saturated colour combinations. It is a joyful and optimistic celebration of the future. It takes us into a backlit world, fresh and cheerful, allowing us to look at colour in a new way through powerful, impactful tones that enjoy a captivating vividness in technicolour. "Cocoon" sets the stage for an analogue ambience, in which materiality and craftsmanship take centre stage. The colours and textures are strictly natural: earth, sand, terracotta, and straw help to delineate bright, enveloping spaces, guaranteeing the peaceful oasis of a domestic embrace. "Post Metaverse" transports us to another reality, indefinable and essential: the stillness of a world without words, reflected in an absence of colour. Here, it is grey that is the master, in an exploration of all its tones. It is the grey itself that creates the three-dimensionality, because it is also composed of light and metal.
