The new Neolith® Urban Boutique in Milan city centre

HRuiz-Velazquez Architecture and design has completed the new Spanish brand new concept of showroom, designed as it is a museum itinerary.

The central Piazza Santo Stefano in Milan hosts the new house of Neolith®, a young Spanish company capable of achieving international recognition in the sintered stone production. For them, the Madrid-based studio HRuiz-Velazquez Architecture and design has conceived a place dedicated to meeting, imagination and design.

Neolith® Urban Boutique is divided into several areas, each of them defined by one of the brand's materials. The space is structured as a circuit that allows you to touch Neolith® products, analyse their properties, test the advantages of large format sheets and discover the refinement of details. Zaha Stone is the stone that covers the floor, vestments and part of the ceiling of the reception area. The protagonist of the room is an elongated swimming pool that evokes a natural cave and reflects the image of the olive tree that stands at the entrance.

With its circular geometry and central loculus, the main room of the Neolith® Urban Boutique pays homage to one of the most important Italian monuments: the Pantheon. Characterised by Calacatta stone and golden details, this room distributes the other rooms of the showroom. The space called Atrium stands out for the play of heights, typical of the poetics of HRuiz-Velazquez Architecture and design, so that in the short path the visitor goes up to the height of the kitchen shelf. In this environment, the Spanish studio enhances the qualities of Strata Argentum stone, which covers the floor, kitchen shelf, walls and ceiling.

The entire route is conceived as a natural and changing landscape, in which the viewer is led to discover the spaces and the display of products. Neolith® therefore breaks away from a classic concept of showroom and proposes a route that is more akin to a museum, that is, able to offer visitors a unique experience.
