On show at Matadero in Madrid the 4th Ibero-American Design Biennial shows works of about 450 designers coming from 23 countries covering all design aspects.

Organized by Madrid Design Foundation (DIMAD foundation), the Ibero-American Design Biennial is a reference meeting point within this sector that gathers hundreds of designers in each of its editions.

The Design Central Matadero Madrid hosts the most important collective design show of Ibero-America, where the best works within this discipline made in the last few years are gathered. With a total of 400 pieces made by almost 450 designers, this show is an extensive and accurate picture to understand the cultural, economic and social development of the 23 participating countries and how these countries interpret development, industry, innovation and even new social movements.

4th Ibero-American Design Biennial, Central de Diseño de Matadero Madrid

The show is divided in five main categories (Graphic Design, Space & Interior Design, Digital Design, Industrial & Product Design and Fashion Design) and ten special awards (Service Design, Design for Development, Design for Everyone, Design & Innovation, Design & Business, Design & Sustainability, Design for Culture, Design & New Ideas, Design & Social Movements, and Design Publications). The awarded designers in this 4th Ibero-American Design Biennial (BID_14) have been selected by a jury made up by a group of professionals related to the world of design: Ruedi Baur (France), Dora Becher (Argentina), Rui Costa (Portugal), Chus Martínez (Spain), Antonio Pérez Iragorri (México), Manuel Lecuona (Spain) y Allan Urban (Chile).
