The exhibition "Il design fa 90 / Ninetiestatic Design", curated by Anty Pansera, will take place from April 8th to 18th 2014. Crossing designers and manufacturers' names, the exhibition ranges from Aulenti, Artemide and Album to Zanuso, Zanotta and Zodiac, passing through BBPR, Bracciodiferro, Bravacasa and Frattini, Fontana Arte, Forme... embracing the leading characters of the most fervid Italian creativity period.
Lamps, bookcases, seatings, tables, jewels, glass and ceramic pieces will offer Italian and foreign visitors a collection of furnishings and “precious” design products that will draw the attention of the general public as well as of collectors. In addition, to reach a more accurate documentation of the role the city of Milan played as design capital, also historical magazines from the '50s will be presented.
So many can be found, that they can challenge the alphabet as well: from Abitare to Zodiac, twenty-six of them concerned furnishing and eighteen concerned design.

During the upcoming Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2014, Fragile will open a new space conceived for contemporary design which overlooks the internal yard of San Damiano 2 gallery, and will present the exhibition Luce continua by Stefano Galuzzi: suggestive light-objects highly characterized in their sensual and material features. Small porphyry and marble sculptures from which light spreads and discreetly reveals itself.
“Courtesy lights, made for meditation, to be gazed at as if it was a candle light”, that's how the designer describes them. Creations whose functionality lies in the pleasure given by their presence and by the contact with their physical nature. Objects designed by Stefano Galuzzi, well known fashion photographer, who, through this exhibition, finally lands on the world of design.
