India

March

The March issue of Domus India (27) journeys through artistic projects with Jitish Kallat’s installation that spatialises Swami Vivekananda's speech, as well as Seher Shah’s architectural drawings that convert capsules of message and information into landscapes of spectral conversations.

We then visit the work of architect Rafiq Azam and the very fine and sensual quality it expresses. Further, we engage with the KMC building in Hyderabad by Mumbai-based RMA Architects, where the design converts the facade into a vertical garden, not only raising questions of sustainability, but as a simultaneous effect, also achieves a blurring of social and class boundaries across employees in the building.
