Conifera is Arthur Mamou-Mani's installion for COS at the Fuorisalone 2019. The project seems to welcome gently the visitors and lead them through the courtyard of Palazzo Isimbardi, where the exhibition takes place in a combination of old references and new design. The piece is realized with 3D printed bricks made in bioplastic material and it is one of the largest structures ever made with this system. It shows how well technological research could co-exist with nature and we see it in the choice of renewable materials or in the light and delicate colours of each piece. Conifera’ s geometries and its joined cones create a light and soft path that connects the design world to environment. COS’ exhibition seems to float in the courtyard and between its columns. It will stay open until April 14.
