Operating out of Milan, London, Paris and Munich, Ambienta manages around €3.0 billion in assets with a focus on investing in private and public companies driven by environmental megatrends and whose products or services improve Resource Efficiency or Pollution Control.
Earlier in his career, Nino was a consultant at McKinsey & Co where he established the environmental practice. In 1997, Nino founded Cam Tecnologie to develop clean technologies and products. From 2002 to 2007, Nino worked within the Telecom Italia group, first as CEO of Finsiel, and subsequently as General Manager of Olivetti. Nino is Chairman of the Ambienta Foundation and a Board Member of San Patrignano Foundation. Nino holds a degree (cum laude) in Business Administration from Luiss University, Rome, and an MBA from INSEAD. Simone Venturini - Deputy Mayor of Venice for Tourism, Social Welfare, Healthcare, Economic Development, Labour and Housing Policy Mr. Simone Venturini graduated in law from Padua University and was elected Venice City Councillor in 2010, at only 22 years of age, serving as group leader. Once more elected in 2015, Mr. Venturini was appointed by Mayor Luigi Brugnaro Deputy Mayor for Social Cohesion, Labour, Infrastructure and Economic Development. Newly elected in 2020, Mr. Venturini is Executive Deputy Mayor responsible for Social Cohesion (Social Policies, Health Planning, Relations with voluntary associations), Tourism, Housing policies, Economic Development and Labour. During his 2015 - 2020 term of office, Deputy Mayor Mr Venturini held additional positions in local and national commissions and bodies, including the ULSS 3 Conference of Mayors, the Social Protection and Inclusion Network created by the Ministry of Labour, and the Steering Committee for the implementation of the National Anti-Trafficking Plan established by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. Mr. Venturini, Deputy Mayor for Tourism, chairs the Management Organisation of the 'Venice' Tourist Destination, a body that aims to create forms of cooperation between public and private organizations with an aim to develop quality tourism through shared strategic lines. During the Covid 19 emergency, Deputy Mayor Mr Venturini supported the Mayor by working on the Health and Social front, and is now busy coordinating the Administration's actions during the Ukraine emergency.
