Mario Abbadessa - Senior Managing Director of Hines Italy

Mario Abbadessa began his career at Hines in 2010 and in 2016 he assumed the role of Managing Director & Country Head of Hines Italy, becoming responsible for all Hines Group activities in Italy. In March 2019, at the age of 35, he is appointed Senior Managing Director of Hines Italy by the Board of Hines Global, becoming the Group's youngest manager to reach this milestone internationally.

Since 2016, under Mario Abbadessa's leadership, Hines has completed real estate investments of about 6 billion euros in Milan, Florence and the Bologna area, building a team of about 80 professionals.

Mario Abbadessa holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University and a master's degree in Science of Finance with electives in Real Estate Finance from the University of Amsterdam.

Alessia Cappello - Councillor for Economic Development and Labor Policies of Municipality of Milan

After earning her degree in Business Communication at the Catholic University of Milan and having the Master Publitalia '80 in marketing, communication and sales management, Alessia Cappello has began her career in the management of many multinational industries.

Following a strong interest in corporate welfare measures aimed at improving gender equality, in October 2021 she was appointed Councillor for Economic Development and Labor Policies of the Municipality of Milan with numerous delegations including Commerce, Fashion, Design, Human Resources.

At the heart of the Department of Alessia Cappello are all city policies related to employment, innovation and the development of commerce, business, crafts, production, fashion and design.

In April 2022 Cappello was the promoter of the “Pact for Work” of Milan, an alliance between 8 leders involved in the employment processes of the city (Trade unions, Chamber of Commerce, Confcommercio, Assolombarda, Afol and Milan Metropolitan City) aimed at bringing Milan back to the levels of the major European productive cities for employment, economic growth, development of talents but also security, Protection of rights and new working methods.

Giancarlo Tancredi - Councilor for Urban Regeneration, Municipality of Milan

Born in Milan in 1961, Giancarlo Tancredi, has a degree in architecture

He has always been involved in urban planning and design within the Municipality of Milan, with particular expertise on the most important complex urban projects of our city, including the "Porta Nuova" area, the Portello, CityLife, Expo 2015 and MIND, the Darsena, the disused railway yards, Santa Giulia and the Stadium area.

The professional experience developed embraces the various issues that are the basis of urban regeneration and the implementation of the Territory Governance Plan.
