Seville. A metaphysical restaurant by day, futuristic in the evening

Casa Plata is a restaurant project created by the Spanish architecture firm Lucas y Hernández-Gil who bets everything on the future. There are various influences. Declared by the same architectural firm, the inspiration to the art of Giorgio Morandi, a twentieth century painter outside the avant-gardes of the time (if not a short adherence to the metaphysical current) known for still life and the wise use of light in simple geometries and compositions. This can be seen in the graphic project (see the photos). 

The same simplicity of painting by the Bolognese artist is a graphic ornament distinguishing the interiors of this restaurant. The atmosphere is silver gray, immobile, with geometries of the 60s and 70s, and a ceiling that refers to the places of the bureaucracy of the 90s. On this geometric, graphic and almost Nordic flatness overlaps the furniture, colorful furniture is made on colored perforated plates. The overall result is elegance, sobriety, lively rigor, varied nostalgia, eclecticism. The environment is revolutionized from day to night, through simple lines of neon light.
