Wallpaper Time: spring makeover

Eco-sustainability, recycling and food are the themes of an installation by Diego Grandi for Jannelli&Volpi.

Conjuring up an effect that is caught between reality and fantasy, like a trompe l’oeil, the installation designed by Diego Grandi for Jannelli&Volpi is inspired by the idea of DIY and home makeovers, with an eye to recycling and eco-sustainable products. At the centre of the showroom is some do-it-yourself equipment (a long worktable, brushes, buckets, ladders and scaffolds) that creates a temporary and untidy domestic setting. On show is the new Marimekko wallpaper collection by Jannelli&Volpi-Sirpi, created in January through collaboration between the Finnish brand and the manufacturer Sirpi, along with the three new J&V Italian Design collections by Jannelli&Volpi’s creative department.
