We're moving toward a new design and architectural aesthetic. The forms and models to be used are still unknown.
A concrete idea, however, may be acquired at Spazio Hogan in via Savona where the Wallpaper House is set up, a new-concept inhabitable module designed for an urban context by Austrian architect Oskar Leo Kaufmann. We reach it after passing through a long open-air hallway which is lighted green at night.
The impact of the enormous space (it has a height of 26 meters) of the former Riva garages is amazing: we are immediately projected into a simulated urban space, a virtual town square disseminated with holes created ad hoc by Migliore & Servetto (designers of the entire setup) in order to recreate the concept of urban addition, the basis of the entire project. Each contains different objects and photos assembled by theme.
Opposite, the façade of the Wallpaper house, purposely “added” between two pre-existing units.
